Emmy photos that make me happy + Another random thing I noticed

Since I've been posting photos anyway, I figured I'd do this too while I'm at it. This one I promise is interesting rather than shallow.



Aly's face cracks me up! I just love this picture insane amounts.


Couples! I love that Josh is still with "Cathy" from "Spoiler Alert." And of coure, Aly and Alexis are just pretty together :)


Hehe. Andy Sandberg, I love you. And I know you secretly love NPH. And he's so happy and smiley!



And I was watching this and an object in Robin's bedroom caught my eye. Upon further inspection, I saw what is in the bottom left corner of this picture:

It's a painting that Lily made of one of the opening credits photos! How neat is that!? I love these little touches and continuity which mean lots of Aldrin originals.

Aly really was Cinderella that night. GAWGEOUS. As was Cobie! She was like, pa-kow! And it made me think of a commentary/interview/I can't remember what where Bays/Thomas were talking about how Cobie had approached them around season 3 about getting her hair cut, and they were like, well, can we make it part of a story? And I guess they still have that to consider if she ever does it, but that updo made me think that she would look slammin' with a short haircut. Not that she doesn't already ;)

And of course the set team rules! I love it.

I'm so glad you pointed out that painting! I noticed it in the eo and thought it looked interesting but I didn't connect that it was from the credits. Love that! They have so many great touches in this show.

I assumed the picture was actually a photograph blown up, NOT a painting - you know, there are companies that blow up photos on to canvas.

Potentially! Though I know plenty of art students who, for a project, had to take a photo and make a larger painting out of it as an exercise for class. So I figured it could have been either... but I think it's still cool that the photo in whatever form exists within the show.

If I'm not wrong, that painting is in Robin's house quite early in the season, before she and Lily became best friends? It was near her front door - you can't miss it. Anyway if you're right about it then that's super-cool :)
